Our sweet couple Katya and Miles hosted their Brooklyn, New York wedding at the iconic Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The gardens feature 52 acres of plants and flowers, a dream to photograph! The Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers several stunning venues for weddings, including the Palm House, the Atrium, and the Terrace Garden. Each venue has its own unique charm and can accommodate different sizes of wedding parties. One of the main draws of getting married at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is its natural beauty. You'll find lush gardens, blooming flowers, serene ponds, and charming pathways that provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony and photos. Depending on the season of your wedding, you can choose to have your ceremony among cherry blossoms in the spring, colorful foliage in the fall, or blooming roses in the summer. Each season offers its own unique beauty at the garden.

With over 52 acres of natural beauty, Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers countless stunning photo backdrops. This outdoor setting features vibrant flowers, serene ponds, and picturesque pathways—creating a breathtaking scene for your wedding photos! Katya and Miles hosted their Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding in July, when the lilies were in peak bloom. One of my favorite spots for wedding photos at the garden is the pond just behind the Palm House, where I loved capturing their reflections in the water.
Beyond the pond, we explored more of the garden’s enchanting spaces, from the rose garden bursting with color to the winding pathways shaded by towering trees. The lush greenery and seasonal blooms provided endless opportunities for romantic and candid portraits. As the sun began to set during their outdoor cocktail hour, the golden light filtering through the leaves created a dreamy glow, making their photos even more magical.
